2024 Powerchair Hockey European Championship
The 2024 European Championship will be staged at Musholm in the municipality of Slagelse, Denmark from October 21 to 27.
World champions Denmark are looking to continue their winning streak on home soil but will face stiff competition as the top eigth teams in Europe square off in Denmark in the fall of 2024.
Following the cancellation of the 2020 European Championship due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this will be the first regional Powerchair Hockey tournament in Europe in eight years. The Netherlands are defending champions having won the title at home in DeRijp in 2016 with a 7-2 victory over Italy in the final. Germany finished third that year.
The 2024 Powerchair Hockey European Championship is organized by Parasport Danmark, Slagelse, Sport Event Denmark and Musholm under the banner of World Ability Sport and IPCH. The tournament has been designated as the regional qualifier offering places for the 2026 World Championships.
